Ricardo Dobry, Sc.D. of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will be discussing "Pile response to liquefaction and lateral spreading: field observations and current Research" at the College Station Hilton at 2:00pm.
- March 29, 2007 :: 2007 Lymon C. Reese Distinguished Lecture
James K. Mitchell, Sc.D., P.E. will be discussing "Ground Improvement for Mitigation of Seismic Risk to Existing Dams" at the Thompson Conference Center at the University of Texas at Austin, March 29th, 2007, at 4:00pm.

Mr. Clyde Baker of STS Consultants has been invited to give the 2006 Buchanan Lecture entitled "In Situ Testing, Soil Structure Interaction, and Cost Effective Foundation Design."
A special lecture will precede the Buchanan Lecture. It will be presented by Dr. William Hansmire entitled "Evolution of Risk Management as a Project Management Tool in Underground Engineering." 2:00PM College Station Hilton
